Tuesday’s Table: Yellow Tin

The strikingly stunning warmth of yellow paired with the simplistic tone of gray. Today’s table is less about an outdoor spring/summer wedding at a vineyard and more about  heading inside to celebrate an elegant, yet playful afternoon as grown folks. Mixing the commonality of a tin can with the breathtaking beauty of a fresh handful of yellow Craspedia flowers, these colors will inspire you.

Tuesday’s Table: Peaches & Sky

Inspired by a clear blue sky on a spring day and the warmth and softness of a batch of freshly picked peaches, today’s table design reminds us of an understated, yet breathtaking reception in the heart of Georgia. Pass the sweet tea and cobbler.

Jenny & Gray: People Are Talking

Desi Baytan PhotographyA long time friend called me to connect me with her friends, Jenny & Gray, who were getting married. This is actually a pretty common occurrence for me. I took the info and called the bride to be. We immediately hit it off. As we talked and she shared some dreams concerning her wedding, my mind ran a million miles a minute with ideas. I listened to her heart and began envisioning. I began to envision a unique vintage inspired wedding overlooking the beautiful Pacific ocean.

I immediately went to work putting the pieces together and putting my crazy ideas into action.

Since Jenny & Gray said “I Do” at the beautiful Casa Romantica in San Clemente, CA, I have received tons of calls from soon-to-be brides inspired by their wedding, their invitations, their flowers, and even me…their planner/designer. Recently, StyleMePretty wrote an article about the wedding. And this month’s issue of Wedding Flowers & Accessories UK did a two page article as well.

I couldn’t have done it without the talented Desi Baytan (Photographer), exquisite Cristina Barragan of Posh Peony (Floral Designer), and all the beautiful vintage rentals from Found.

Pink} Blushing I Dos

PHOTO COURTESY {Brookelyn Photography}

Vintage charm, rustic chic and soft pastels have been the craze this last year in weddings and looks to be a continuing design inspiration in the coming Fall season. There is just something so sweet about saying your ‘I Dos’ surrounded by the soft setting of blush pinks, peach tones and natural accents like heather or scabiosa pods.

And of course, I have a Blush Pinterest board to gather all the beautiful inspiration out there. ;)
